How to Add an Image in Power BI

To add an image in Power BI, you can follow these steps:

  1. Prepare the image file you want to add. Make sure it is in a supported format, such as JPEG, PNG, or GIF.
  2. In Power BI Desktop, open the report or dashboard where you want to add the image.
  3. Navigate to the “Insert” tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  4. Click on the “Image” button under the “Illustrations” section.
  5. A file explorer window will appear. Locate and select the image file you want to add.
  6. Click “Open” to insert the image into your report or dashboard.
  7. By default, the image will be added as a floating element. You can resize and reposition it as needed using the handles that appear around the image.
