How To Add Background Color In Power Bi

To add a background color in Power BI, you can use the following steps:

  1. Open your Power BI report or create a new one.
  2. Select the page or visual where you want to add a background color.
  3. In the Visualizations pane, click on the format paintroller icon, which is located on the right side of the pane.
  4. Expand the “Page background” section.
  5. Enable the “Background color” option.
  6. Choose a color by either selecting one from the color palette or using custom colors.

Let’s say we have a Power BI report with a dashboard consisting of multiple visuals.

If we want to change the background color of a specific visual, we can do the following:
