Eclipse Change Language

To change the language in Eclipse, follow these steps:

  1. Open Eclipse
  2. Go to Window -> Preferences
  3. In the Preferences window, expand the General tab
  4. Select Appearance -> Colors and Fonts
  5. In the right pane, you’ll find a Language drop-down menu
  6. Select the desired language from the list
  7. Click Apply and then OK
  8. Restart Eclipse for the changes to take effect

For example, let’s say you want to change the language to German:

  1. Open Eclipse
  2. Go to Window -> Preferences
  3. In the Preferences window, expand the General tab
  4. Select Appearance -> Colors and Fonts
  5. In the right pane, you’ll find a Language drop-down menu
  6. Select German from the list
  7. Click Apply and then OK
  8. Restart Eclipse for the changes to take effect

After restarting Eclipse, the language of the user interface (menus, dialog boxes, etc.) will be in German.
