Override the get_queryset() method in your ModelAdmin:

class contentAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin):
    def get_queryset(self, request):
        qs = super(contentAdmin, self).get_queryset()
        # Refine your query here, filtering out the unwanted records.
        return qs
