I found a modal example that actually works for me

Modal.vue

<template>
  <transition name="modal">
        <div class="modal-mask">
          <div class="modal-wrapper">
            <div class="modal-container">

              <div class="modal-header">
                <slot name="header">
                  default header
                </slot>
              </div>

              <div class="modal-body">
                <slot name="body">
                  default body
                </slot>
              </div>

              <div class="modal-footer">
                <slot name="footer">
                  default footer
                  <button class="modal-default-button" @click="$emit('close')">
                    OK
                  </button>
                </slot>
              </div>
            </div>
          </div>

Why do not use other npm modal packages like vue-modality .I strong vouch for this package.Its easy to use and understand. This will save you a great amount of time as you dont re-invent the wheel.Check out this link https://www.npmjs.com/package/vue-modality
